My Khe beach sits right against the city — cross one road from your hotel and you are on the sand. Easy to mix holiday and sightseeing.
Hoi An and Hue within reach
Hoi An is about 30 minutes by car; the Hue imperial citadel about 2 hours. Both work as day trips.
Central transport hub
Da Nang airport has direct flights to several Asian cities — a natural midpoint for travelling north to south.
Main districts
- My Khe beach area — Along the coastal road: resorts and sea-view apartments, walkable to the beach.
- Son Tra — The peninsula itself — Linh Ung pagoda and a scenic coastal drive. Good for a half-day with a car.
- Hai Chau (city centre) — Local life: restaurants, markets and shopping malls, generally cheaper than the beach strip.

Should I stay in Da Nang or Hoi An?
Da Nang for the beach, Hoi An for the old town at night. They are 30 minutes apart — stay in one and day-trip to the other.
When is the best time to visit?
February to August has the most stable weather for the beach. September to November is the rainy season, with occasional typhoons.
Do I need a car?
Central Vietnam’s sights are spread out; a private car saves time over hailing rides piecemeal. We provide Chinese-speaking drivers and daily car hire.
