The bay’s islands are close together, with plenty of snorkelling, diving and island-hopping options — easy to give a few days entirely to the sea.

Mud baths and hot springs
Mineral mud baths are a local speciality and a good way to unwind after a long flight; most resorts can book them.

- Tran Phu boulevard — The coastal strip — hotels and resorts, with the beach across the road.
- Loc Tho (city centre) — Dining, night markets and shopping, walkable to the beach, and better value.
- Hon Tre and the bay — Resorts and a theme park; good for families, reached by cable car or speedboat.

When is the best time to visit?
January to August is the dry season — best for islands and diving. September to December is rainy, and boat trips can be affected.
What if I don’t dive?
Snorkelling, island-hopping, mud baths and the seafood night market all need no diving experience.
How do I get there from Ho Chi Minh City?
About 1 hour by air, or 7–8 hours driving down the coast. Most guests fly.
